ARNOLD G. RUBIN Arnold G. Rubin (Rubin Law Group, Ltd., Chicago) concentrates his practice in the area of workers' compensation law. Mr. Rubin is a graduate of Northwestern University (1975), and received his law degree from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law (1978). Mr. Rubin has served as Chairman of the Industrial Commission Committee of the Chicago Bar Association (1989 to 1990). He was a member of the Board of Managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (1992 to 2005). He is past President of the Workers Compensation Lawyers Association (1993) and served on the Board of Directors for that organization from 1994 through 2001. He has authored various articles including for the Illinois Bar Journal and Illinois Trial Lawyers Journal. He has lectured for the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and Illinois State Bar Association on various topics involving workers' compensation. In 2023 he was a guest speaker at Northern Illinois University's College of Law. Mr. Rubin has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Workers' Compensation - Claimants since 1995 and a member of Leading Lawyers since 2003. He has been selected as a top rated lawyer in the 2006 through 2026 Illinois Super Lawyers magazine. CATHERINE KRENZ DOAN Catherine Krenz Doan is a partner with Rubin Law Group, Ltd. in Chicago. She concentrates her practice in the area of workers’ compensation law. Ms. Doan graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with highest honors and received her law degree from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law magna cum laude. She is a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Catherine was a notes and comments editor for the Chicago Kent Law Review. She has authored various articles for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education (IICLE), the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. She has presented seminars hosted by the IICLE Workers Compensation Institute and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Doan is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. At the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association, Catherine Krenz Doan was a member of the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2025. She was also Treasurer at the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association from 2019-2021, Vice President from 2021-2022, and President from 2023-2024. In 2026, she was elected as a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Catherine Krenz Doan was selected by her Illinois peers as an Emerging Lawyer in Workers' Compensation law from 2016-2021 and has been listed as a Leading Lawyer from 2022 to present.
